Villa Theorin is a hillside villa set within a lush woodland area in Kullavik, where the house grows naturally out of the rock and follows the site’s topography.
The façade in warm plaster is combined with oak details that introduce a soft and timeless character. Deep roof overhangs with timber slats create a dynamic play of shadows across the façade and terraces while reinforcing the house’s horizontal expression.
Generous glazed openings open the house towards the forest and blur the boundary between inside and outside. A cast-in-place terrace that follows the shape of the rock, together with a pool, creates a private outdoor environment closely connected to nature.
Inside, the house is defined by light oak, natural materials and an open layout that allows daylight and views to shape the spaces.
