Villa Norrtälje

Villa Norrtälje is designed with a focus on both functionality and beauty, where generous roof overhangs play a central role. These extended roofs create sheltered outdoor areas that encourage time outdoors and social interaction, while also giving the house a strong silhouette against the surrounding landscape.

The overhangs protect the façades and create spatial depth that extends the interior living spaces outward. They form natural transitions between inside and outside, adding both comfort and architectural clarity.

The material palette combines Thermowood timber with raw concrete and crushed granite stone. Together, these materials create a rich tactile contrast between warmth, robustness and refinement.

At the heart of the house stands a dramatic two-storey fireplace clad in granite stone, functioning both as a source of warmth and as a central gathering point for family and friends.

Inside, the interior is shaped by a warm and inviting atmosphere where dark timber elements create depth and contrast against lighter surfaces, establishing a calm and intimate environment.

Villa Norrtälje is a carefully composed home where architecture, materials and landscape work together to create a balanced and harmonious living environment.
