Villa Lilletummen – architecture shaped by landscape
Villa Lilletummen is a private residence set within a dramatic rocky landscape, where architecture and nature are carefully balanced. The design combines monumentality with restraint, giving the house a strong architectural presence while remaining sensitive to its surroundings.
The material palette pairs warm Kolumba brick with raw concrete, creating a tactile and timeless expression. Clean volumes and pronounced roof overhangs follow the natural topography, while large glazed openings frame views of the surrounding terrain and bring daylight deep into the interior.
Terraces extend the living spaces into the landscape, strengthening the connection between house and nature. With a total area of 235 square metres, the villa is organised around open layouts that prioritise light, views and spatial flow, complemented by a freestanding garage.
